A Journey Through Frames & Memories

Debajyoti Das embarked on his photographic journey in 2010, starting with a compact camera for family photography. This initial foray into capturing moments ignited a passion for the art form, leading him to explore the world of professional photography. At just 20, with a fresh DSLR in hand, Debajyoti ventured to Chennai, marking his first journey beyond his hometown.

As he pursued a master’s degree in Computer Science at Banaras Hindu University, his involvement in high-profile projects like the Mahakumbh in Allahabad earned him the nickname “BABA” among his peers. His growing expertise and creative vision were evident through his work, which garnered international recognition in 2015.

In that pivotal year, Debajyoti, alongside his classmate Renuka, founded Muddyearth Studio. Based in Kolkata, this premier creative studio specializes in high-end wedding photography, capturing the essence of luxury weddings across India. Their unique approach blends timeless elegance with contemporary artistry, making every wedding a masterpiece.

We’re a small, hands-on crew led by Sarah. She directs your session, a lighting assistant keeps everything crisp, and our retoucher polishes every image for natural color and a clean, consistent finish.
